Being raised the only child of a single mom has only been trouble for Adi, driving her away from her clingy mom and towards the rebellious side. She keeps herself busy away from the house. Unlike the majority of her school, soccer is her passion, not music, so she needs a few close friends. She is now a sophomore and feels stuck at a school that pays little attention to sports and much more attention to music and art. Unknown to most, Adi was forced by her mother to take music lessons, so she can play percussion. Adi already has too much to worry about, however, to get involved in the competitive music drama at her school. She needs some good friends who aren't obsessed with VA, and an enemy could be someone who is way obsessed with show choir, which would annoy her.

Any ideas?

I think Olivia and Adi could be really good friends. Both of them are more interested in something other than VA, which could be a real bonding point for them.

Definitely agree with you there. Olivia just doesn't want to be popular. Adi doesn't mind either way, she just hates the fact that soccer is ignored for VA. Maybe Adi could show Olivia around the school, be a friend besides Luke that can show her the ropes since she's new? I'm thinking the three of them could have some fun discussions.

Soccer team buddies! I actually think they could be good friends already. It would be an interesting friendship, since they're not very alike. Charlie studies a lot, while Adi is more of a party girl, so they would just be pushing each other in a different way. I don't know, it could work fine. And being a little reserved, Charlie needs a friend she can trust.

Actually that sounds really fun. It would be fun to have another person in soccer first of all, and the whole opposites attract really sounds like a good storyline. Charlie can calm down Adi a little, and maybe actually get her to care about her grades. And Adi can show Charlie how to have a good time outside of school.

I think Journey and Adi could be good friends. Journey loves music, but she isn't obcessed with it like everyone else. She wouldn't mind being in VA, but is doubtful of her talent against everyone else. Journey is a sweet person and doesn't really like to be competitive. Any thoughts?

I think Journey and Adi could be pretty good friends. Adi is competitive, unlike Journey, but it's mostly saved for soccer and the like. Adi is just so so about music, but would probably be there to help encourage Journey to go for VA. I think they could meet in high school since Journey is a freshman. Probably not in a classroom unless you can think of a class a freshman and sophomore would have together. Thoughts?

And not that it matters, but I love the fact that both of our actresses are already on a Disney show together.
